I have been a licenced nurse for some 28 years now. In fact I am the youngest individual to licence in the state of Texas still to date. I have loved my profession beyond any imagination, I felt that it defined who I was ; a caring ,impathetic, loving individual willing to do anything for the well being of man kind.Then one day it happened while on duty; An accident that would change my life for ever.A simple needle stick left me with an incurable,deabilitating virus, that would leave me totally helpless. I believe in man kind. I trully do. But the facts are still the facts.
I am in the window of not being able to recieve any asst. The bills continue to pile up! I have applied for every type of asst that my social worker and myself could find and ither been denied or told to wait.
